Patrick Grove
Since founding Catcha Group in 1999, Patrick has built an extensive track record of founding, building, acquiring, listing and growing both private and public Southeast Asian digital businesses. Today, he is widely recognized as one of the leading entrepreneurs in the region, having founded and taken 5 digital businesses from their early stages to initial public offering in Australia and Southeast Asia, including the iProperty Group – which was acquired by REA Group in 2016 in one of the largest ever acquisitions of a Southeast Asian internet company at the time; iCar Asia, an operator of leading automobile marketplaces in Southeast Asia; and Frontier Digital Ventures, an owner and operator of leading online marketplaces in frontier markets.
Patrick is also Chairman and CEO of Catcha Investment Corp, a blank check company targeting technology businesses in Southeast Asia and Australia that listed on the NYSE in February 2021.
Today, Patrick is passionate about leveraging Catcha’s entrepreneurial and capital markets expertise to help great tech entrepreneurs scale and take their companies to the public markets.
He has been independently and widely recognised by a number of international awards, including: Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum; New Asian Leader by the World Economic Forum; Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore; Asia’s Best Young Entrepreneur by Bloomberg Business; and the University of Sydney’s 2021 Alumni Award for International Achievement.

Luke Elliott
Luke co-founded Catcha Group alongside Patrick in 1999 and has been responsible for the Group’s corporate finance and operating activities since inception. He has over 20 years of Asian online experience, with a focus on developing fast-moving online business models and monetising online assets.
Over the last 20 years, Luke has led over 70 corporate exercises including capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, and public listings, and manages the acceleration and scaling of the Group’s portfolio companies.
Wee Pang Ming
Pang Ming, or commonly referred to as PM, is the Finance Director for Catcha Group since 2012. He is in charge of the Group’s overall general finance as well as corporate finance, which includes activities such as Due Dilligence, Acquisitions and Initial Public Offering. During his time with Catcha, he assumed a key role in the IPOs of iCar Asia Ltd, Ensogo Ltd and Frontier Digital Ventures Ltd.
Prior to joining Catcha Group, PM was in Audit Assurance for 7 years with KPMG and BDO. His portfolio ranged from telecommunications, property development, print & online media, construction, retail & trading and multi-level marketing.
PM is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in University of Queensland, Australia.
Kit Wong
As a Director, Kit provides critical support to the Group in evaluating key strategic decisions and driving execution across the Group’s main priorities.
Kit brings significant corporate finance experience from 13 years at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, where he was an executive director in the investment banking division, focusing on coverage of technology, media and telecommunications companies in the Asia Pacific region. At Goldman Sachs, Kit led and executed various large and sophisticated corporate finance transactions across Southeast Asia, China, Australia and India, including mergers and acquisitions, de-mergers, initial public offerings and debt offerings.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Cedric Lee
As an investment associate, Cedric provides critical support to the Group in evaluating key strategic decisions and driving execution across the Group’s main priorities.
Prior to Catcha, Cedric spent a year working in a regional venture capital fund, focusing on early-stage investments in Southeast Asia and China. Cedric has also experienced working in a broad range of industries in technology, PR and banking through internships in firms such as J.P. Morgan and KRA Group.
Cedric enjoys writing on the tech scene in SEA, where his work has featured in J.P. Morgan Insights, e27 and Meet Startup @ Bnext.
Cedric is a graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Oscar Ong
As an investment associate, Oscar provides critical support to the Group in evaluating key strategic decisions and driving execution across the Group’s main priorities.
Prior to joining Catcha Group, Oscar spent 11 months as an Equity Analyst at Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) where he covered the Metals & Mining sector. Oscar also has internship experience at CIMB Investment Bank where he supported M&A transactions and fundraising exercises.
Oscar graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2018 with a Bachelor of Commerce.
Dennis Leong
As an investment associate, Dennis provides critical support to the Group in evaluating key strategic decisions and driving execution across the Group’s main priorities.
Prior to joining Catcha Group, Dennis spent 8 months as a Strategy Analyst at Carousell Group, where he covered corporate strategy and corporate development for the group’s operations in Asia. Dennis also has internship experience at State Street Bank and SMEVentures where he supported private equity transactions.
Dennis graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2021 with a Masters of Applied Finance.
